Errata

When mathematical errors are found in our textbooks, we publish errata to show what has been corrected. Changes will be made to online subscriptions immediately; there is nothing for you to do. You will receive notifications through Snowflake when errata are made for textbooks that you have subscriptions for.

If you notice an error in any of our books, please let us know by emailing the book title, page, and problem to errata@haesemathematics.com.

Proof of purchase

The following are acceptable proofs of purchase:

  • A Haese Mathematics tax invoice
  • An invoice or receipt from the bookstore where the textbooks/licences were purchased, which must include:
    • name and address of the bookstore
    • number of textbooks/subscriptions purchased (preferably including the title or ISBN of the textbook/subscription)
    • amount paid (the currency is not important)
    • receipt number

If the invoice or receipt is not in English, a general translation would be appreciated.

The proof of purchase can be sent directly to customer service from within the institution account by clicking "Add subscriptions" on the Dashboard page. Alternatively, email your proof to info@haesemathematics.com indicating the name of the institution that the subscriptions must be added to. Customer service will confirm via email that the subscriptions have been added and are ready for use.

Purchasing textbooks

Haese Mathematics textbooks can be purchased directly from our website. Books that are, or will soon be available on Snowflake can be found here.

Managing Snowflake notifications

All announcements and updates are communicated by Snowflake to the user via email. To better manage these messages, we recommend creating a filter within your email client. The following are links to instructions for setting up a filter on two common email clients.

Mozilla Thunderbird:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/organize-your-messages-using-filters

Microsoft Outlook:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-au/outlook-help/manage-email-messages-by-using-rules-HA102749402.aspx?

Please note that it is not crucial to read every single notification generated by Snowflake. Their purpose is to inform the user that an update has occurred which may or may not require actioning from within their Snowflake account.
